Jetson Electric (https://ridejetson.com) is looking to bring on an AR Specialist!
The AR Specialist will be a key member of the accounting team. You'll be responsible for:
• Working under Jetson's Controller to manage Accounts Receivable
• Entering payments received into QuickBooks
• Reviewing and analyzing open and past-due customer balances, short payments, and chargebacks
• Reviewing supporting documentation to identify deduction reasons and issues preventing payment. Taking necessary action to ensure that both collection and deduction issues are resolved timely
• Engaging management over any AR problems you encounter
• Assisting Controller with any ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree and at least 2 years of accounting and AR and/or chargebacks experience in retail environment
• Experience with QuickBooks and working at a startup is a plus
• Experience with third party banks is also a plus
• Excellent problem solving, organizational, and tactical skills
• Incredible degree of patience and ability to think clearly and strategically in ambiguous situations
• Experience with large Excel spreadsheets
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset - you're a self-starter and drive things to conclusion
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to a process
