Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC) is a nonprofit organization of institutions of higher education and others devoted to the improvement of academic degree programs for professional educators. The Council's primary work is the accreditation of these professional programs through a system that examines and verifies competent, caring, and qualified professional educators.
After institutions have met certain eligibility standards, the Council requires that they prepare a research monograph, the Inquiry Brief, in which they demonstrate and document that their programs satisfy three principles of quality: For more information, please visit http://www.teac.org
